We are pleased to confirm that Dave Crocker will be returning in 2015 with his unique and ever-changing exhibition of Northern Soul Paintings.
About Dave Crocker
Dave Crocker is an artist from Plymouth, UK, known for his recently completed 365 South West Coast Path Project.
The South West Coast Path Project began on the 21st May 2012, with artist Dave becoming inspired to produce 365 paintings from around the Coast Path in just 12 months. All of the resulting paintings have been created entirely outdoors whilst on the path, and Dave can often be found along the many walks.
Upon completion, Dave began work on his current project; capturing the essence of his much-loved Northern Soul scene.

The Exhibition
You will be able to see a snapshot of this project at our 2015 weekender.
Dave is a prolific painter and his collection is ever-growing and ever-changing. As well as portraits of soul legends, he photographs DJs and dancers at events around the country - including our own All-Dayer in July 2014 - and renders them into beautiful portraits that transcend a simple likeness and capture, in a raw and direct way, the emotional charge of his subjects and their setting.
His incredible work greets you upon entering the Guildhall, and it is well worth the time to stop and enjoy this incredible collection.
